About Wired to Connect Counseling

Hi, I’m Rimma Isaac, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and the founder of Wired to Connect Counseling. With over 12 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families heal from emotional, relational, developmental, and attachment trauma. I incorporate relational, attachment-based, psychodynamic, person-centered, and family systems modalities of treatment.

Connecting and Reconnecting

Many of the people I work with feel stuck — whether it’s in their relationships, their emotions, or their sense of purpose. They may know something needs to change but aren’t sure how to move forward. Through therapy, I help clients gain clarity, process past experiences, and develop the tools they need to create meaningful change.

I believe that we are wired for connection — with ourselves and with others. When those connections feel broken, life can feel overwhelming, lonely, or uncertain. My goal is to help you move through life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience.

Meet Your Therapist

I specialize in working with people who have experienced developmental trauma or adverse childhood experiences, and I have advanced training in NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) to help guide the process. Trauma isn’t just about the obvious, “big T” experiences—things like abuse, loss, or major life-threatening events. It can also be the quieter, more subtle wounds, like feeling unseen, unheard, or emotionally disconnected as a child. Even if you had loving parents, there may have been moments when your needs weren’t fully met, leaving patterns that still affect you today.

Together, we’ll take a closer look at these patterns—not with blame or judgment, but with curiosity and compassion. At some point, these ways of thinking and behaving probably helped you cope. But if they’re now keeping you stuck, we can work to shift them. I don’t just focus on managing symptoms—I help uncover what’s really driving them so you can make lasting, meaningful change.

My approach is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. Therapy with me is a space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences, but I also offer direct guidance and practical tools to help you move forward. This is your journey, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I am bilingual in Russian and bring a deep understanding of cultural experiences that shape who we are.

Why “Wired to Connect”?

I named my practice Wired to Connect Counseling because I deeply believe that human connection is at the core of our well-being. Whether it’s our connection to ourselves, our relationships, or our sense of purpose, feeling truly seen and understood is essential for growth and healing.

My goal is to empower clients to make lasting changes in their lives. Help them get “unstuck” and create a more fulfilling life. Be more intentional and feel more connected within themselves and their desires. Have more fulfilling relationships with others.

Therapy is not just about addressing challenges, it’s about creating the life you want. If you feel stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by the past, know that change is possible.
